In less than 12 hours year 2010 will become history.  I am excited because I love new things, new challenges and new adventures that come with each new year.  I am not going to bore you by recapping the "best and worst" of 2010 because that's just it....It's old and I am about "What's New and Haute!  LOL!!!  Anyway, today is "Fashion Friday"!!! Wednesday is my favorite day of the week.  Mainly because it is two days away from Friday.  Wait...I just had a quick thought...."Fashion Fridays".  I just love myself when I come up with new ideas.  Yes, every Friday I will post a fabulous outfit that you can wear on the weekend or for a night out on the town.  Whew, that means that I will have to scour the town or city, depending on where I am shopping for that week for that perfect outfit.  Well, a fashionista has to do what a fashionista has to do.  :)  Gotta love it!   TGIFF (Thank God It's Fashion Friday).

Today is that special day when the world rejoices the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, with gifts to our loved ones.  At least I know in my household that is the real meaning of Christmas.  My daughter could not wait until the morning to open her presents...so last night at exactly 12:00 am she opened all her gifts.  With my daughter being 10 years old (going on 16), I really was not expecting all the oohs and ahhs but a litte joy and excitement would have been nice.  LOL!  She had a 2 page Christmas list which of course had items that would have to wait until next Christmas...you can't knock a kid for wishing.  LOL!  Anyway...she loved all the clothes (of course she would, her mom is a fashion and design consultant) but I missed the ball in the electronic area.  Who knew!!    Well unfortunately tomorrow is the big day for returns and sadly I am going to be standing in some of those long lines...at least I will be looking very fashionable!!!

Whew...I thought that shopping today would be a "hot mess" especially since this weekend is the last shopping weekend before Christmas.  I was surprised that I did not have to circle the parking lot 4 times looking for a decent parking space nor did I have to park 2 miles away from the stores.  Actually it was pretty strange not having to stand in line for hours.  Where is everyone or was I just shopping at the wrong stores?  LOL!!!  Anyway...the purpose of my shopping adventure today was to pick out my favorite things for my Christmas list and share with you some great Christmas finds.  Enjoy!!!


 This is a faux snakeskin jacket which I plan to wear with a cute pencil skirt and a turtleneck sweater.  Hopefully it gets cold enough soon.

  This is MY VERSION of a LBD!!  This is going to look hot with a black leather jacket and peep-toe shoe booties for a night out on the town.  Great for the office with a brown sweater and peep-toe 3 inch heels.  Yummy!!!


Faux fur!!!...Gotta love it!!  Leggings and a turtleneck sweater for the SuperBowl in February 2011 or a Dallas Mavericks game!

A grown and sexy version of Ugs!   A faux snakeskin material in a pewter and black color.  I am going to rock these with my skinny jeans and a silk blouse!  Tres Chic.
