New Year’s Eve Party Decorating Ideas

Year 2013 is less than 48 hours away from being history.  This is going to be the first year that I am not hosting a New Year’s Eve soiree at my home.  After hosting three  holiday events and two birthday parties at my home this year, the hubby has requested for me to temporarily hang up my hosting hat….at least until next year….LOL!  Of course, that is a hard task to do especially when decorating and hosting events are your passions.  Well to satisfy my hunger for decorating while on this temporary hosting hiatus, I sat on Pinterest for hours looking for pictures of inspirations for New Year’s Eve decorations to share with you.  I think that I found a couple of ideas that I would use if I were to host a New Year’s Eve party at my home.  If you are hosting a New Year’s Eve party, please share your ideas and pictures…I would love to see your creations.

These clock and champagne cookies can satisfy any sweet tooth at any hour.  They are so adorable and can add a little touch of whimsy to your party table.  Be sure to make enough to give them away in goody bags for your guests.

This is another variation on the numbered champagne glasses but black in color.  These glasses will look great if your New Year’s Eve décor is black and white.

This table setting is great for a sit down formal gathering….but who does this for a New Year’s Eve party….LOL!  Anyway, I thought the idea was whimsical and easy to make.  You can make the decal sticker or purchase one from your local hobby store and adhere it to the bottom of the glass plate….your guests will be floored by your creativity.
