I know that I am a day early with my birthday wishes, but since I am hosting this year's 4th of July celebrations at my home, I figured I needed to get a head start.....LOL!  Here are some great summer and 4th of July decorating ideas I found on the internet.  Be safe and enjoy your 4th of July....It's Haute!

Summer is the season in which I do most of my entertaining...that is outdoor entertaining.  Pool parties, back-yard barbeques and evening soirees are just a few that come to my mind.  I love entertaining outdoors because it lends to more of a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.  I desparately try to keep my guest list to under 15 guests so that I am able to interact more intimately with each of my guest.  When I am decorating an outdoor space, I always try to incorporate the same design principles that I would use when decorating an indoor space.  Once the space is decorated, I just simply throw in some good food, good music and great company, then let the partying begin!

Spring is here!!!!...Yeah!  I love the spring season!  I love all the new and fresh spring colors in home accents, fabrics and paint colors.  If the spring colors alone don't motivate you to decorate, then I don't know what will....LOL!!!  Hopefully this whimsical chair slipcover I found at Pier 1 Imports will get you motivated to decorate your home for the spring.....It's Haute!!!

It's that time of the year......Christmas Holidays!!!!  I love this time of the year.  I love the all the glitz, glamour and all the holiday decor.  I pulled out all the stops this year in decorating my home for the holidays.  It took about 2 weeks to finish my home mainly because I was working on the homes of 3 clients all at the SAME TIME!  LOL!!!  Any way, take a tour of my home all decked out for the holiday.    Remember......Jesus is the reason for the holiday season!!!!!  Enjoy!

TURBAN TREND now making a huge come back – on the streets, on the runways and in editorials. The look is now surprisingly wearable given the vast interpretations that are being created. Adds a touch of quirky-ness to your every day look; it can be dressed down with a tee and jeans of worn out with your favorite dress. Must have accessory for a wear now and also to carry into Fall.

I know that it has been sometime since my last post, but I wear different hats in my life and one of them happen to be a "basketball mom".  The month of July was a very busy month not only for me but for my 17 year old son who plays AAU Select basketball.  For all the moms out there who have children involved in select sports, you know what I am talking about....LOL!!!  Our entire month of July was filled with non-stop travel to many different states watching our son play nothing but basketball.  Well I am back now to wearing my "fashionista and interior decorator hat" and ready to bring the world of fashion and interior design right into the luxury of your living room...so sit back and enjoy the ride...It's Haute!!!!!

The June Dallas Market is in full swing this week.  It started Thursday and will even go one day extra until Monday.  It is the Total Gift and Home Market so I was able to look at some of the great gifts for the summer and for the fall.  In addition, I was able to look at some great furniture and lighting accents.  For those who are not as fortunate to shop wholesale at the Dallas Market, I am going to have to tell you that it is a total blast!  It is like spending an entire day at the fair...that is the home decor and fashion fair.  You can shop for your retail business while enjoying the free food, free wine and free samples.  I am like a kid in the candy shop.  Well enough...so enjoy these pictures of the decorative vignettes I was able to sneak a picture of.  It's Haute!!!

That is with the hottest trend in earring fashion....FEATHERS!!!  Feather earrings are Haute, sexy and so lightweight.  Feather earrings look great with a bohemian outfit, country chic or even with a sexy southwestern outfit.  They are going to be the staple of earring fashion for the summer.  Get them now while they're Haute!!!

Rompers were the "fashion staples" of the 80's and as with everything else, what goes out of style eventually finds it way back into style.  Just as  jumpsuits are "Haute" this spring...rompers are taking center stage as the "fashion staple" for the summer.  They come in many different fabric choices, colors and patterns.  You can throw on a pair of flat sandals or ballerina shoes for a more casual or relaxed look...or dress them up for a night out on the town by adding high heel strappy sandals or wedges coupled with chunky jewelry.  No matter how you wear them, rompers are fun just to "romp" around in.  LOL!!!  

Hair accessories are "Haute" this spring.  I have seen the hair bands with feathers, jewels, ribbons, basically anything that you can make stick to a hair band.  Having a "bad hair" day....forget putting on a hat...slap on a hair band.  It's Haute!!!!

Shabby Chic is making a comeback in a big way. However the new shabby chic is less shabby and more streamlined and chic. Still keeping with the light neutral colors and collected accent pieces.

It's "Fashion Friday"!  This fashionable ensemble is professionally casual to wear on a Friday and "Haute" enough to wear out on a Friday night out on the town!

Rings are fashion for the fingers just as earrings are fashion for the ears.  I know that I feel naked without my wedding ring and at least one ring on my right hand.  Also the bigger and wilder the ring is, the more fashionable it is.  I have one ring that has a large brown stone with a lizard on top....talk about a conversation starter.  When I pick out rings for my boutique I make sure to have an assortment of rings to cater to all taste in Finger Fashion!  Come and check out the collection....It's  Haute!!

Cowboy boots are not just for "the cows and the boys" anymore...Country Chic women are wearing them with everything from jeans, to spring/summer dresses, to daisy duke cut-off shorts to basically whatever they feel like wearing them with.  LOL!!!  I think that it is the "country bad-ass" attitude that makes you fashion fearless!  LOL!!!  Even the innocent Taylor Swift looks "CountryHaute" in her outfit.
